Two days of building with Young Creators. Not an all-nighter, but a lot of makers, workshops and startup vibes. November 29-30 at StartDock.
Build Weekend is a kind of hackathon where ideas are turned into reality together. You form a team, choose a challenge and build through the weekend.
We won't tell you what to build, but are happy to help you get started. We give you access to resources and you'll leave with the MVP of your next startup: whether it's a prototype, design, automation, or a bold new concept.
Unlike traditional hackathons, this Build Weekend is less about competition and more about collaboration, creativity, and learning. You leave with a project and with new skills, connections and energy

The goal of the Build Weekend is to bring together young makers to create, learn, and collaborate. It’s not about working all night or chasing a perfect end product. Instead, the focus is on:
- Learning new tools and skills (like n8n automation)
- Meeting other creatives, techies, and entrepreneurs
- Realising an idea in just one weekend
Think of this Building Weekend as a playground for experimentation and collaboration.

Nope, this isn’t an all-nighter hackathon, sorry! 🚫🛏️
We’ll wrap up in the evenings and start fresh the next day. That way you get to rest properly and come back with new energy.
We hope it lowers the barrier for you to join. If you are in need of a sleeping place, perhaps your team members can offer some space.
No worries! Teams are formed at the beginning of the event, either through a random selection process or by allowing participants to form their own teams.
Great! Does the team consist of 3-5 people? Let all the team members sign up individually and register the team name in the form. If you are still looking for some team members, you can pitch your idea at the beginning of the hackathon, and recruit others for you team.
Bring your own laptop, chargers, and any tools or software you need for your project. We provide dinner on Friday and breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks on Saturday.
